The country now has 17 crore 69 lakh mobile subscribers
The number of mobile subscribers has increased by more than 5 lakh in a month. At present there are 17 crore 69 lakh 40 thousand mobile subscribers in the country.
This information was found by analyzing the data of June and July of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Authority BTRC.
According to the information given by BTRC, the number of Grameenphone subscribers has increased by four and a half lakh. GP subscribers in June were 8 crore 20 lakh 30 thousand which in July was 8 crore 24 lakh 80 thousand.
in July, Banglalink's subscriber has increased by 10 thousand and turned the total number into 3 crore 65 lakh 70 thousand and Teletalk's subscriber has increased by one lakh 10 thousand and made the total number as 60 lakh 90 thousand.
Of the four operators, only Robi's subscribers have declined in a month. From June to July, Robi's subscribers have decreased by 30,000. Robi's subscribers were 5 crore 18 lakh 40 thousand in June which came to 5 crore 18 lakh 10 thousand in July.
